Predator Basketball League 2008 Fall Season and 2009 Winter Season The Predator Basketball League will be going through some exciting changes in the upcoming 2008 Fall and 2009 Winter Seasons. This League was founded on the following pillars fourteen years ago. Coaches and parents were looking for a league that had: Those have been my goals from day one, and I believe I have delivered on those goals every year since. That said, I hope to improve on those goals as we make the transition to our brand new facility, now finished, in northwest Omaha - Omaha Sports Academy, 11734 Stonegate Circle, Omaha, Nebraska. Many changes are in store, but the League itself will maintain those high standards of excellence and build upon its Premier League status for Omaha area teams. Leagues will begin Tuesday, October 21st for the girls division and October 24-25th for the boys. New in 2008 - 2009, in addition to the facility, will be a Saturday Predator League, Girls Mid-Week League to be played on Tuesdays, and we will be having a 3rd Grade Boys Division to be played on Saturdays. The plans for the upcoming season are to have the younger teams (3rd, 4th and 5th) play on Saturday and the 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams play on Sunday. If there is enough interest, we will have 7th and 8th grade Girls also on Saturday. The Girls Mid-Week League will be played on Tuesday evenings with a capacity of 32 teams. Plans would be to have 8 teams in each grade division, 5th through 8th. Sign-ups are beginning at this time. To ensure yourself a spot in the 2008 - 2009 Predator League, please complete the attached information and choose one of the options: League fee will be $500 per team. Non-refundable deposit of $150.
